Hummus Recipe
Hello Everyone, this an ultra easy and delicious recipe.
Hummus as it is called, is a simply dip or paste that is made with canned chick peas.
Ingredients:
2 cloves garlic—roughly chopped
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup water
14 oz (400g) canned chickpeas rinsed and drained
½ cup tahini or ground sesame paste.
¾ Tsp of ground geera.
1 teaspoon salt
PLACE all ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until smooth, scraping the sides occasionally. .
Prepare extra quantities of hummus—it can be refrigerated, covered, for up to 1 week and frozen for up to 3 months. Enjoy with tortilla chips, crackers or even crispy pieces of sada roti.
