Ingredients Needed
3 Cups of Basmati Rice, boiled with 1 Tsp of Chief Brand Turmeric
4 Tbsp of Vegetable Oil
2 Tbsp of Minced Garlic
4 Tbsp of Minced Onions
2 Tbsp of Minced Pimentoes
1 Tsp of Minced Ginger
¼ Cup of Minced Celery
¼ Chopped Chives
2 Tbsp of Chief Brand Biryani Spice Mix
¾ Cup of Fine Diced Coloured Bell Peppers
¾ Cup of Frozen Peas, Thawed
Chief Brand Salt and Black Pepper to Taste
Method
Place large Iron pot over high heat on stove. Add the Vegetable Oil. Sauté the garlic, onions, pimentos, ginger, celery and chives for about 3 Minutes until fragrant. Add the biryani mix and stir to cook for 1 minute. Place the rice and bell peppers in. Stir well, ensuring to turn the rice from the bottom atop. Cook for about three minutes then add peas and cashew nuts. Season with salt and pepper to taste and then remove from heat. Serve with Curry chicken, shrimp or even with Fish.
