To interview Mrs. Priyanka Chopra Jonas was up on my vision board. So when the opportunity finally arose to interview Global Icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas for her new movie; The Sky is Pink, I was ecstatic beyond measure. I got the call a few days prior to the interview and excitement overcame my heart. I vividly recall I was having dinner and when I told my mom, her eyes opened widely and she made a gasping sound.
Fahim Bhai from B4U official and I waited for our time slot to interview PC, as she is fondly referred to as, we were in the company of reporters from E News, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, MTV, and many other popular pioneering entertainment networks. The board room we waited in felt rich, the bottles of water, the notepads, the pens, coffee & tea station, everything was lavish.
Then our time was next, as I sat on the chair waiting to conduct my interview, I glanced across another room and I noticed Diana; PC’s famous dog. I got more excited instantaneously.
I was overwhelmed with joy and nervousness, as this was the biggest interview of my career. At that point, my sister Diana was texting me and she lovingly said “don’t worry you got this” and Fahim Bhai also had some words of encouragement. Nervousness comes with not feeling prepared, I kept revising my questions. At the same time, everyone who came into the boardroom to retrieve their stuff said she is very lovely and extremely friendly. Therefore I went into the room knowing she was lovely and affable.
As I trekked into the glorious quarters where PC was seated, I introduced myself, told her that she was a part of my vision board, she smiled and we had a great lovely conversation off-camera. When the camera went on, our interview just flowed, all my questions came out naturally and I was able to ask all that I prepared.
When I concluded, I was thoroughly pleased and happy of how our meeting went and I was elated beyond description of how it felt to actually have this goal attainment ticked off from my vision board. Thank you to Fahim Bhai for seeing my excellence because Tuesday, October 8th will always be a very special day – My Sky was very pink and red on that day.
