Red, White and Black Chocolate Dipped Strawberries:

Ingredients Needed

 

·       8 Each Fresh Plump Strawberries ( Washed And Patted Dry )

·       6 Oz of White Chocolate Chips

·       6 Oz of Dark Chocolate Chips

·       2 Tsps. of Vegetable Oil. 

 

Method  

·       Place white chocolate chips, and Dark chocolate chips in two separate small plastic containers. Gently run a few strawberries at a time under a thin stream of very cold water. Don’t turn the tap on too high! You don’t want to bruise your fruit! Place your washed strawberries on a clean paper towel and allow them to air dry completely.

·       Melt your small containers of chocolate chips for 20-30 seconds at a time in the microwave. Then remove the chips and stir. You don’t want them to ever get hot, just barely warm enough to melt the chocolate.

·       Add One Tsp. each of Vegetable oil in with your melted chocolates. This will thin the chocolate out and give it a nice, beautiful smoothness and shine.

·       Dip your strawberries on an angle into the white chocolate as this will create lovely space for a second artistic layer on the other side when you dip your dark chocolate in to coat for the ultimate presentation and appearance.

·       Allow the chocolate to drizzle slightly from the strawberry then transfer your fruit to a piece of parchment paper. Sprinkle with decorative sprinkles and allow the chocolate to cool and harden in chiller for twenty minutes.

·       Serve within three hours as it gets soggy after extended periods.
