Ginger Ale

One favorite drink of Chef Jason Peru is Ginger Ale. It has that strong punch to it as well as that refreshing feeling when it’s drunk cold with friends and family for the season. Really and truly, it’s so simple to make and costs you probably less than five dollars to make a full Ja-litre.

Here are the Ingredients that you will need

1 Cup of White Sugar

1 Tbsp Yeast

2 ½  Tbs. Freshly ( Grated ) Ginger

7 Tbs of Lemon Juice

7 Cups of Water

Special Equipment – One Large Coca Cola Bottle

 Method

Place a Funnel into the opening spout of the bottle, add the grated ginger, sugar, lemon, water and yeast in. Shake to thoroughly combine and cork the bottle. Place in a dry area like on top a cupboard for 48 Hrs.  After this time has surpassed, carefully open it up and strain the liquid. Rebottle into a clean glass bottle and tightly cover. Place in chiller and serve cold to your guest when they come to parang your house and proudly say you made it.
