I was pleasantly surprised that Chef Jason can sing to. Under the guidance of 2014 Chutney Soca Monarch winner KI Persad and production by Rishi Mahato from Maha Studio this song was perfected.
From the moment I hear the intro my waist moves, this beat is so catchy people are raving about it, its also burning up the airwaves. If the melody sounds familiar, well its the popular song from Duplicate – Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, a song that Jason personally likes. Lyrics were written by Kelvin Kisson, then the master chef went into the studio and belt out his best.
I like the balance and the effect, needless to say there isn’t any auto tune, his vocals were heartfelt, attractive, confident and impressive. The instrumental accompaniments were exciting. Congrats to Chef Jason Peru a talented, imaginative, skillful individual!
