As an avid New Yorker who lives in Queens, I just think it is my mere duty to share with you some of my favorite spots which I love visiting to eat. I proudly recommend these establishment to my many readers out there whom may want to indulge in some of these delightful cuisines, whether if you reside in the area or just simply visiting.
Here are some these delightful Spots
- As a Trinidadian living in the United States, I somehow can’t break away from my family’s Sunday morning custom of enjoying a piping hot doubles. If you haven’t had this delicious street food snack, which is very much ubiquitous in Trinidad, then you are in luck. It is basically two pieces of turmeric infused dough that is light, crisp on the ends and slightly airy in the inside, layered with a faint curry inspired channa and potato filling drizzled with condiments galore, ranging from tamarind sauce, cucumber and coconut chutneys and other spicy relishes. You can try a doubles at Trincity which is located located on 111-05 Lefferts Blvd, South Ozone Park 11420. It is so good, they had to create a separate line just for it. In addition, if you are familiar with Rotis, then this is the place for you which is another favorite food item that accompanies varying curries of all types. http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/trinciti-roti-shop/menu
- Whenever I feel for shrimp wontons I head on over to Mantra Restaurant. They are quite popular for it. The chefs whip up a dozen in no time. I must suggest that they are best enjoyed when they are hot https://www.facebook.com/FlamingoMantra
- I am a lover of salmon. There is one spot that I order from all the time and it comes with a magnificent spread of potatoes, carrots and broccoli with butter. The ambiance is really nice and there is a bar next door also if you require a different experience after. http://www.olavradorrestaurant.com/

Wow was I in for a treat. it was so good. Up to this day, I hold this lamb chop in high esteem. http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/royal-india-palace/
