I am determined to let girls know that society play a big part in making up the “rules” that a women should look a certain way in order to look attractive. Who are you to tell me that my stomach has to be flat to look good? For god sake I eat! Where else my food is supposed to go?
So many are obsessed with looking like the ideal shape, big boobs, flat tummy and big a$$. Just the other day I read online that a women died from going to a regular salon and having the spa attendants inject her butt. Inject your butt by someone who isn’t certified? Now that is stupidity. Yes we love and admire the celebrities who partake in such surgeries but keep in mind that they pay top dollars to go to certified doctors to get “work” done. I am not against surgeries it’s available and if you can afford it why not, but going to extreme to “fit in” is ridiculous.
I am happy that France recently implemented a new rule to ban underweight models. Society these days praise women that in their definition “look good’ I remember looking at Dancing with the Stars and judge Carrie Ann Inaba praised Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter Rumer Willis saying to her “you’ve got a great body but your dance moves needs to be improved”, so what about everyone else who might be watching and may not have a body that looks like hers, should we feel less of a person?
The bigger the lips, the better, the bigger the boobs, the sexier, flatter the stomach the better, high ass, yes you fit right in! No, no no! If you work out and challenge yourself to reach a certain weight goal do it for the right reason NOT because of society’s rules. Take care of your body, eat healthy but DON’T allow yourself to get caught up in looking a certain way to fit in.

The body image stuggle is so real and I agree… society plays a huge influence on this. I am in constant battle with my body image, wanting to be slimmer, more toned, etc
Every woman i know in my life struggles with this as well.
