It was a windy Friday afternoon; I had Chipotle for lunch went to the movies, then walked down Broadway. As I stopped on the intersection of Broadway and 37th street to capture a “Kodak” moment I noticed a Dunkin Donuts store and wondered “should have a donut to satisfy my sweet tooth.” I quickly thought “ah never mind, donuts are harsh on the tummy” I proceeded to take my picture and went about my way. As I crossed the street I noticed Crumbs Bake Shop. 

Excitedly, I trekked over to its little quaint outside window and peeped in. It’s a cozy shop with attractive sweet baked treats throughout. It felt like cupcake galore with so much different types to choose from. You are dazzled mini, medium and gargantuan sizes of specialty cupcakes all varying with multiple meshed flavors each inspired and paired with their own distinctive decorative style. 

I decided to try their Coffee Toffee Vanilla cupcake. As I sat down ready to devour such a creation, I couldn’t help admire this sultry – sacrificial satisfaction bounded treat that would have definitely put a wide smile on my face. ☺ This subtle coffee flavored and moist cupcake was decadently filled with caramel and topped with coffee flavored vanilla cream cheese frosting, also lavishly edged with toffee candy bits and drizzled with caramel atop and accented with a the cutest vanilla cream cheese rosette. I sat near the window and dug in. To be simply concise, it was succulent, moist, tasty and un-doubtfully one of the best cupcakes I ever ate before. Also it proved to be very affordable and value for money which I think is paramount as a customer.

I noticed there, giant cupcakes that serve 6-8, which comes in flavors such as Cannoli Colossal, Cookie Dough, Devils food and so much more to be a big seller as a worker constantly packaged and replenished their display cases.

As I sat and enjoyed my cupcake I couldn’t help but notice how busy they were, it’s a good sign for sure. 

Starting off as a mom and pop shop Crumbs Bake Shop came along way with its current 79 locations and is currently the largest cupcake chain in the United States.
