I always tend to buy items I observed the person needs, and would use all the time, clothes, colognes, razor sets, wallets. Then there is the fun stuff, is he into gadgets, games, you can visit a hobby stores where they have “big boy toys”,  radio control helicopters, remote control speed boats etc. Personalized gifts are always sentimental, have an item engraved.
