I first heard this song on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, on his top 5 countdown, at first I said to my self – this song on the top 5 why? As I was keenly listening, the song started sounding better, loved the lyrics, she is being real, she ain’t no size 2, its all about that base, she sings – “Yeah, my mama she told me don’t worry about your size She says, “Boys like a little more booty to hold tonight.”
Reminds me of the lyrics in Born this Way by Lady Gaga “My mama told me when I was young We are all born superstars She rolled my hair and put my lipstick on In the glass of her boudoir There’s nothin’ wrong with lovin’ who you are She said, ‘cause He made you perfect, babe So hold your head up, girl and you’ll go far”
Mama’s knows best, we should be proud of our body type and not get into the notion that thin is better, embrace who you are.
